GREENSBURG — The 2025 Western Pennsylvania Golf Association competition season gets underway Monday with the first of three Senior Series competitions at Hannastown Golf Club.

The Senior Series is a competition featuring three tiers — the Senior Division, Super-Senior Division and Net Division.

The competition will be 18 holes of stroke play, with 58 players scheduled to play.

A year ago, at Nemacolin Country Club, Craig Sabo (Senior), Don Erickson (Super-Senior) and Pat Petit (Net) took home titles in the initial Senior Series competition.

All three competitors are set to be in Monday’s field, along with several other former WPGA champions.

The WPGA will also host Senior Series competitions at Latrobe Country Club on July 2 and at Montour Heights Country Club on August 27.
