Jim Boughner, 2014 WPGA President, 1959-2023

Jim Boughner, 64, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023.

Jim served as WPGA President in 2014 and was a long-time volunteer and committee member, serving on the Advisory, Audit & Finance, and Championship committees.

A graduate of The Ohio State University and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, he was an attorney, a Certified Public Account, and a Certified Financial Planner.

He was a dedicated volunteer. In addition to serving the WPGA, he served as a board member and President of the Mount Vernon Cemetary, board member of the Mon River Arts, Treasurer/Secretary/Director of Membership of the Financial Planning Association of Pittsburgh, and former Chair of the Corporation of the Mount Vernon Community Presbyterian Church.

Jim was also an accomplished golfer. A long-time member of Youghiogheny Country Club, he won the Club Championship at Youghiogheny eight times, including both the Club Championship and Senior Club Championship this year.
